RWBB has approximately 250 students who ride the bus daily. To help ensure student safety, RWBB students practice how to complete an orderly and speedy bus evacuation twice a year. Thank you to staff, bus drivers, and students for a smooth evacuation day!

RWBB is so excited to announce the overwhelming response to our Farm to School Fundraiser. With that in mind, we are looking for parent volunteers to help with the unloading of vegetables, bagging vegetables, the organization of vegetables for pick up, and the pick-up evenings. If you are available to help, please call the Office at 204-467-5537.

Kevin Locke, a preeminent player of the Native American flute, a traditional storyteller, cultural ambassador, recording artist, hoop dancer and educator, was RWBB’s guest artist today. Mr. Locke spent time teaching our grade four students the art of playing the Native American flute as well, the school assembled to enjoy Mr. Locke’s storytelling, flute playing and hoop dancing performance.

On Monday, September 30th, RWBB recognized Orange Shirt Day. Guest author David Robertson came to our school assembly and gave a powerful presentation regarding the meaning of Orange Shirt Day. Mr. Robertson wrote the book “When We Were Alone” and was kind enough to autograph the copies we have in our school library. What is Orange Shirt Day? Au Marais Oak Hammock – Le Jour d’Écologie de 4ième année. C’était une bonne journée au Marias Oak Hammock! En premier nos avons trempé pour les insectes au marais avec un petit filet et un seau. Nous avons attrapé une grande variété des insectes comme des gammares, des sangsues et des corises. Nous avons aussi trouvé les plantes carnivores qui s’appelle des utriculaires.
