When the weather is questionably cold, we will use our local weather station to determine the “windchill hazard/temperature” at that time and decide if outdoor activity breaks will take place. Please remember to dress your child appropriately for all outdoor activities.
Interlake School Division Guidelines
- Temperature/Windchill of -30˚ C or lower = indoor activity
- Temperature/Windchill of -25˚ C to -29˚ C = outdoor activity for fifteen minutes (15) maximum
