In the past, RWBB has been involved in social initiatives like UNICEF boxes, a Tin for the Bin. This year, we are proud to be participating in Socktober. So, what is Socktober, you might be asking…..
Socktober is an initiative by the Main Street Project, who wish to provide individuals using their facilities with a clean, dry, and cozy pair of socks for the upcoming winter. Those experiencing homelessness are at risk of feet related health issues, and these risks only increase with cold, damp weather. Having a clean, dry pair of socks is essential to keeping feet healthy.
Please help us reach our goal of collecting 444 pairs (444 pairs= the number of students at ÉRWBBS) of new adult socks to donate to the Main Street Project. Thank you for your support!
