May was a vibrant and meaningful month at our school as we celebrated the rich diversity within our community during our Multicultural Celebrations!
We kicked off the month with an exciting multicultural assembly that brought students and staff together to experience dances and music from a variety of cultures, filling the room with energy and appreciation for traditions from around the world.
A special highlight was the Michif language presentation by Mr. and Mrs. Lavallee, who shared their knowledge and passion for the language while helping students connect with Métis culture, followed by a delicious bannock treat enjoyed by all.
Students also had the opportunity to participate in our very first RWBB Multicultural Fair. It was inspiring to see the curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm of our students, making this celebration a memorable reflection of the diversity and strong sense of community within our school.
