New School Speed Zones in Stonewall

Please be aware that Stonewall now has school zones with reduced speed limits around RWBB, Stonewall Centennial and Stonewall Collegiate.  The speed limit has been reduced to 30 km per hour between the hours of 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Gr. 1 – 4 Open House – September 3rd – 5:00-7:00 pm

Welcome back to school!  RWBB is please to host our annual Open House on the evening of September 3rd from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Come meet your teacher, bring your school supplies, and see who is in your class. We are looking forward to the start of another great year!

RWBB Gr.2’s host a Stonewalls 55+ Extravaganza

This year, RWBB Gr. 2 students have enjoyed participating in a Step-It Up Class with the seniors  from the 55+.  As a wind-up, our Gr. 2 students hosted the adults to a fun filled day of learning and exercise.  A great day was had by all!

Seed Survivor Comes to RWBB

Early this morning, Seed Survivor’s Mobile Classroom pulled onto RWBB’s playground.  Grade 3 & 4 students learnt about nutrition for life and food sustainability through hands on activities. Some lucky students were selected to enjoy a virtual reality experience.  Thank you to Mr. Boughton, who volunteered for the entire day!

RWBB Gives A Hoot About Owls

Yesterday, Dr. James Duncan came to RWBB to share his love of Owls with some of our students.  He talked about his research with the organization called Discover Owl, which is based out of Balmoral, Manitoba.  Last year, RWBB raised money to purchase trail cameras to help with his research.

Jump Rope for Heart Assembly

We just celebrated the conclusion to Jump Rope for Heart with a fun filled assembly.  The students achieved their fundraising  goal of $1,000 so Mr. Ross showed off his skipping skills in a shark costume and for his encore bounced on a Pogo Ball while skipping!  Truly impressive! Thank you to all the families who gave so generously to this great cause!
