When the weather is questionably cold, we will use our local weather station to determine the “windchill hazard/temperature” at that time and decide if outdoor activity breaks will take place. Please remember to dress your child appropriately for all outdoor activities. Interlake School Division Guidelines Temperature/Windchill of -30˚ C or lower = indoor activity Temperature/Windchill of -25˚ C to -29˚ C = outdoor activity for fifteen minutes (15) maximum
Thank you to all the families who generously gave much needed supplies the the homeless. In collaboration with Stonewall Collegiate’s LAUNCH program, RWBB collected shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toques, mitts, sock, nail clippers etc. RWBB’s leadership team enjoyed sorting and organizing the items before sending the to be delivered.
Today, RWBB paused to Remember, Thank, and Honour Canadian service personnel. Thank you to: Mr. Kyle Campbell, bagpiper Aiden Mulvihill, trumpet player Major Phil Desmarias, guest speaker
Just like fire drills, RWBB practiced a full evacuation of the school on Monday, November 18, 2019. Staff and students walked to Quarry Park where attendance was taken to confirm that everyone was accounted for and we had all arrived safely.
RWBB has approximately 250 students who ride the bus daily. To help ensure student safety, RWBB students practice how to complete an orderly and speedy bus evacuation twice a year. Thank you to staff, bus drivers, and students for a smooth evacuation day!
RWBB is so excited to announce the overwhelming response to our Farm to School Fundraiser. With that in mind, we are looking for parent volunteers to help with the unloading of vegetables, bagging vegetables, the organization of vegetables for pick up, and the pick-up evenings. If you are available to help, please call the Office at 204-467-5537.
