A Big Thank You

The staff of École R. W. Our current topic in Grade Three Social Studies is “Exploring Our World”. Students have brought in a diverse assortment of artifacts from elsewhere in the world to share with their peers. As part of this assignment students explored similarities and differences between their chosen country and Canada. February is I Love to Read Month!

I LOVE TO READ/J’aime Iire: What a year it has been! And, what better way to celebrate “I Love to Read” month than to show appreciation for the time we have to escape into the pages of a good book. Students will be bringing home a bingo card with reading challenges to complete. Weather Guidelines for Outdoor Activity Guidelines

Outdoor recess is a valuable, unstructured activity time for children to socialize and play. All students are expected to come to school dressed for the weather to go out for recess.  When the weather is questionably cold, RWBB uses our local weather station to determine the “windchill hazard/temperature” at that time and decide if outdoor activity breaks will take place.   Please note:  The temperature recorded at the school maybe different than the Environment Canada website.   Interlake School Division… Read More

RWBB Student Safety Concerns

It has come to our attention that some vehicles are not adhering to the detour signs around our school during arrivals and dismissals, resulting in some near misses with students.
